Looking for a fun and healthy way to bond with your family this summer? Join the first-ever Good Housekeeping Family Fun Run happening on April 3, Sunday, 5:30 A.M. at Manila Ocean Park.
The entire family –including pet dogs!—can participate in the different race categories. Kids six years old and below can join the 100-meter dash. Team up with your dog for the 1k run with obstacles, or with your child for the 3k run with obstacles. Kids and adults alike can also join the 5k open run. There will be a pet-grooming station, inflatable for kids, face-painting, and many more fun activities in this event.
Dog lovers also have one more reason to join the fun run, as Summit Media will be launching its first-ever publication dedicated to man’s best friend, Good Dog. A quarterly publication featuring everything you need to know about owning a dog, Good Dog will be bundled with the April issue of Good Housekeeping.
The registration fee is P200 per head for all categories, while children below 3 years old can join the run for free. Participants must also pay a registration fee of P50 per dog, and present the dog’s latest vaccination record upon registration. Registration for the Good Housekeeping Family Fun Run is ongoing until March 28, 2011.
